The building in which this hotel is located has been part of the history of Patzcuaro since 1790 and it is considered an architectural jewel due to its colonial architecture. It was owned by Don Francisco de Iturbe and Heriz who gave it as a dowry to his daughter Doña Francisca de Iturbe and Anciola in 1830. It is located in the center of the city, in Vasco de Quiroga Square. Each room has high ceilings and is decorated with paintings by renowned artists from Michoacan as well as folk art pieces by Michoacan’s artists. Its renowned restaurant “Doña Paca” serves some of the region’s most famous dishes
