This modestly designed construction, built in volcanic stone, is located in the Cuauhtémoc Forest. It originally functioned as Lázaro Cárdenas’s rest house and it later became a state library. Currently it hosts a silkworm breeding workshops where they elaborate the most beautiful textile crafts, such as shawls, as well as other jewelry.
