Also known as the Guadalupe Sanctuary, this church dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe is considered one of the most representative samples of neo-gothic style, which arrived in Mexico by the second half of the 19th century.

It is also the Religious precinct with the highest towers in the country (107.5 meters tall).  It showcases a total of 365 sculptures, one for each day of the year.  On February the 2nd, 1998 the Cathedral turned one hundred years old, and it was reinagurated on December 12th, 2008.
