Cerro de Garnica National Park

It was declared a National Park in September 5, 1936 by the president Lázaro Cárdenas so this area could be preserved to protect local flora and fauna. It has 1938 hectares, crossing the town of Queréndaro and Hidalgo. You can find here trees like the pine, teocote, Encino and oyamel. The park is opened to general public, but it does not have infrastructure for tourist.
