The town of Paracho is famous for handcrafting the best guitars in the world, not only because of their centuries-old crafting tradition that has been hand down from generation to generation, but also because of the material they use to elaborate them: cedar wood. The guitar museum showcases a sample of the local artisans’ best works, as well as an exhibition about the history of the first guitar manufacturers. It is recommended to call the City Hall to know visiting hours.
