Erected under Friar Juan de San Miguel in 1533, this building originally functioned as a hospital. Nowadays it houses the La Huatapera Indigenous Museum which is divided in four halls. It features a small chapel with which the museum’s permanent exhibition begins. The main hall is dedicated to the four regional indigenous peoples and it exhibits artifacts related to their daily life, culture and religion.
