Inside the facilities of the Middle School Bartolome de Medina, you can find the mural to miners, a renowned piece by the Mexican painter Arturo Estrada, native from Panindicuaro, Michoacan This mural shows the life and activities of the miners, and thus reflects the work conditions of the workers and inhabitants of Angangueo. The mural was painted with acrylic painting and it was finished in 1964. Arturo Estrada dedicated this piece to Cristina Kahlo, sister of the painter Frida Kahlo.
