University Public Library

Morelia

The old library fund with its 22,901 volumes is considered Mexico's third largest old book fund owned by a public university. Among the preserved specimens we find seven incunables books. The library is located in the beautiful city of Morelia. It stands out for its design of barroque style tablerado, emblematic of XVII century, in pink quarry. It was founded in 1930 by orders of the gobernor Lazaro Cardenas.
